Home Sweet Home

is it any wonder I love pulling into the driveway each day after work? The window above the driveway is My Creative Mind, isn't that a beautiful view inside and out! Even Akria comes to greet me each day, he is such a momma's kitty! The St. John's Wort is coming up, but most likely will be a project for next spring as we have just found out Ed has a BROKEN disk in his lower back which will require surgery...go figure, at least now we know what has been bothering his legs and back this summer.

Tonight we are finally painting our bedroom, at least getting a start on it, priming over the stenciling, so...once again My Creative Mind is put at the bottom of the list.

I love your home. It's just what I would picture for you from reading your blog. The flowers are very welcoming. Should make you want to quilt....makes me want to quilt.

Lovely! The overflowing window box is a very European style too. Sorry to hear about Ed, but at least with a diagnosis they now know where to start to get him feeling better.

Cheers!

The flowers are all looking wonderful and I bet that Shangrila (probably mispelled that one) of a back and side yard is too. You two have worked hard enough on it to make it so.

I gasped when I read about Ed's back situation but you said, it explains a lot about his symptoms of late. Get the details from you later.

Beautiful colors in those flowers! What are the purpley ones to the left, looking at the steps?

Love your house.Looks so comfy and cottagey. That gives me ideas for my mom's house. Love your walkway too. I like what you did with the bowling ball. it's amazing how many things you can do with bowling balls. I like glueing marbles on ones that I find at garage sales.
