....is our two youngest grandkidlets
Madelyn, now 5
and Jason, now 4
My passion is creating quilts for family and friends, but especially to give to children who have next to nothing to call their own. Most of the quilts I create are given to children in orphanages in Mexico, through Wrap Them in Love and AMOR Ministries. My Creative Mind Blog will be used as a photo journal to document the quilts I create...with a photo or two of the silly cat who owns us thrown in here and there. I love all the roles of my life: Wife, Mom, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and of course Grandma to the 5 most beautiful grandchildren in the world. I love laughter and spending time with my family. God gave me a talent and I am doing the best I can to not waste it.

Wow! Five birthdays in seven days! I can certainly understand why you would be tired. Are Madelyn and Jason sister and brother?

I bet 5 birthdays in 7 days is a great thing to prevent those "Winter Blahs" that can come in January! Especially kids birthdays :))
Look at those faces! By the way- start saving up for buckshot now, when Madelyn turns teenager, her daddy is going to need a whole lot to keep the boys in line.
It looks like Jason really enjoyed that ice cream he's finishing up. Madelyn is already a heartbreaker, I'll bet.
DH's family has 4 birthdays in 9 days, so I can sympathize.
I think it has been a whirlwind of birthdays! glad you might catch your breath for a minute now.
I just spent a very enjoyable time reading your blog. Beautiful grandkids; I love the picture of you and your siblings -- what a fabulous idea. Happy Birthday to your mom and everyone else you celebrated this past week! We have similar birthdays in January and February too -- all in a row!
