About Me
My passion is creating quilts for family and friends, but especially to give to children who have next to nothing to call their own. Most of the quilts I create are given to children in orphanages in Mexico, through Wrap Them in Love and AMOR Ministries. My Creative Mind Blog will be used as a photo journal to document the quilts I create...with a photo or two of the silly cat who owns us thrown in here and there. I love all the roles of my life: Wife, Mom, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and of course Grandma to the 5 most beautiful grandchildren in the world. I love laughter and spending time with my family. God gave me a talent and I am doing the best I can to not waste it.

I think time flies exponentially. So the more time that has passed in your life, since it is proportionatally a smaller part of your life, it just goes faster.
Congratulations on getting the placemats done. Isn't it amazing the things that we keep putting off just to see how easy they actually were to accomplish.
Those jelly jars are cute.
Love your placemats AND jelly...great job!
Your Christmas placements are cute - a great idea for using up some Christmas fabrics in my stash. Also like those Christmasy little jars.
We all have silly reasons for not finishing a UFO. Right now I am binding a log cabin that has been finished for years, but I didn't have any RED thread to sew red binding on. How silly is that? The important thing is that you got the placemats done now and they are ready to enjoy! Oh - and my girlfriend makes me mint jelly and chocolate fudge every year - I always look forward to the homemade goodies!
Cheers!
Evelyn
Goodies from the sewing room and goodies from nature's bounty. Good job, Pam!
