I thought I better check in, I am getting emails daily inquiring as to how I am doing...thank you all for thinking about me. Your thoughtful comments, emails, cards, beautiful hydrangea plant have all helped us through this difficult adjustment to our life.

It is spring and we are spending every second (between rain showers) outdoors. This year is no different than any other year...we have projects, ideas and dreams that will not become reality if we are not working at them regularly.

I have done a bit of sewing and some writing. My sister and I went to a friend's green house and had a potting party, we potted hanging baskets, pots for our decks and etc. We will go pick them up in a couple of weeks. I made my version of this fountain for my Mary Yard, it is really cute...I'll post a pic as soon as we get the electical run out to that side of the yard. Keeping busy is never a problem at our house.

A little bit of this and a little bit of that, we are trying to find a new normal, a new routine. I have a huge hole in my heart, a giant missing puzzle piece...my cousin likened it to going through the empty nest process all over again....yep...that is a good way to put it with the exception that the kids always come home...more on that later.
